What is Budgey Play and how does it work?
Budgey Play lets you earn 🍌 by discovering new mobile apps and games. It's simple: you install an app suggested by Budgey, use it, and every goal you reach in the app earns you 🍌.
How does it work?
Pick an app in "Discover". Each offer shows the total 🍌 you can earn and the list of goals to reach.
Install the app using the offer's button. That button is what lets us track your progress: if you install the app straight from the App Store or Google Play Store, we won't be able to recognise it.
Open the app and start playing. Every goal you reach (completing a level, building something, signing up…) earns you 🍌.
Follow your progress in "In progress". This is where you'll find the offers you've started, the goals you've already reached, the next one to unlock and how much time you have left to finish the offer. Once an offer is finished or has expired, it moves to "Completed".
"Your journey" and "Bonus goals"
On each offer, goals are split into two sections:
Your journey: the app's main goals, reached in order. They follow your natural progress through the game.
Bonus goals: extra goals you can unlock at any time, in any order.
Is it free?
Yes, the vast majority of goals don't require any purchase. Some goals are labelled "Purchase required": they're linked to an in-app purchase and are completely optional.
The headline amount on an offer is the total for every goal, purchases included. On the offer page, you'll see a breakdown of what you can earn with no purchase at all and what you can earn with purchases, so you can decide what's right for you.
When will I get my 🍌?
Each goal you reach is pending at first, then confirmed automatically after a short verification period. Everything is explained in Why are my 🍌 pending, and when will they be confirmed?.
